Day 1 - Guest will be received at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) and Transfer to Kalimpong
Guest will be received by our official at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) - He will assist you for the forwarding journey to Lava via Sevoke Coronation Bridge; Bagrakote (125 kilometers, 4 hours) - One can have refreshment at roadside Dhaba / packet lunch - On the way visit to Lava monastery - Check - in at hotel in Lava - One is free in the evening to stroll around - Over night stay at Lava.
Day 2 - Kalimpong Sightseeing
Early morning breakfast – Kalimpong is quieter destination - Situated on the foothills of the Himalayas at an elevation of 1243 meters / 4078 feet, it is a Hill Station buzzing with fun, frolic and offers spectacular views - After breakfast local sight seeing to Mangal Dham, Zong Dog Palri Fo-Brang Gompa, five kilometers south of the town centre at the end of the ridge at Durpin Dara Hill and was consecrated by the Dalai Lama. Also visit to local Nurseries, Army golf course and Dr. Grahams Home. Overnight stay at Kalimpong
Day 3 - Transfer to Darjeeling
Early morning breakfast - After breakfast onward journey to Darjeeling through tea gardens and on clear day a view of the Himalayan range, stop for photography. Darjeeling - At an elevation of 2123 meters / 70001 feet, the land of breathtaking beauty, amidst rolling tea gardens, crowned by the majestic Himalayas popularly known as the Queen of the hills - Jewel in the crown of the Eastern Himalayas with mesmerizing beauty offers spectacular views of the Mount Everest, Mount Kanchendzonga and the rest of spectacular Himalayan range –also visit Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery before entering Darjeeling. Check - in at hotel at Darjeeling - Evening free to roam around in Mall - Over night stay at Darjeeling.
Day 4 - Darjeeling Sightseeing
- Early morning at around 3:45 AM drive to 8000 feet / 2440 meters through primitive forests of oak, magnolia to Tiger Hill to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather) Optional – Back to hotel for breakfast - After breakfast next round of sightseeing - city tour includes Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tensing Gumpo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (Closed on Sunday), Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (Sunday Closed), Peace Pagoda and alternate sightseeing point Rock Garden can be added if Tiger hill is not done– Back to hotel – Evening free to stroll around the area - Overnight stay at Darjeeling
Day 5 - Mirik Excursion
Early morning breakfast – Next start for the 32 kilometers drive via Nepal border to Mirik – It’s a two hours drive - Mirik is a quiet town between Siliguri and Darjeeling - It is known for its secluded charm, Beautiful Tea Gardens, Samendu Lake, Orange Orchards, Cardamom Plantation and its pleasant Climate - The drive is scenic and so is the place both attracts tourist in hordes – Halt at Seemana for view for viewing of Mount Kanchendzonga - Activity like boating in the lake is also in the card for guest - On the way visit Pashupati Market in Nepal - Drive back to Darjeeling nearly 32 kilometers and 1 ½ - 2 hour’s drive - Back to Hotel – Late evening free to stroll around Mall or visit some of the pub, Eateries, studio or bakery with cafeteria – Night halt at Darjeeling
Day 6 - Departure to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) Via Mirik (Optional)
Drive to Siliguri, on the way to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) (120 kilometers, 2 ½ - 3 hours) - Morning breakfast - After breakfast transfer to It’s a two hours drive - Kurseong is a quiet town between Siliguri and Darjeeling noted for its secluded charm, Beautiful Tea Gardens, Orange Orchards, Cardamom Plantation and its pleasant Climate – Halt at Kurseong Tourist Lodge for refreshment – One will travel through the best Tea estate of the world – Drive to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) /Siliguri - Guest are advised to start early and not to rush - Forwarding Journey
